Medical Assistant with Radiographic/ X-Ray Technician (Limited)
The Medical Assistant program prepares the student for an entry-level position in the medical field as a multi- skilled Medical Assistant, front and/or back office assistant in clinics, hospitals and doctor’s offices. Medical Assisting is projected to be one of the fastest-growing occupation. The program includes classroom, laboratory, and clinical experiences.
Radiographic/ X-Ray (Limited) program the term limited radiography designate a new occupation emerging within the radiological sciences, workers in medical office, clinics, ambulatory care centers and home diagnostic companies. Limited scope radiography is representing a mobile X-Ray unit. As an individuals who operate radiation producing equipment coming under State and Federal guidelines and regulation that address the establishment of minimum educational standards.
At National College of Health, you will receive the knowledge and techniques needed to become a successful medical assistant with x-ray technician in only 40 weeks of training.
Applicant must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or a GED certificate and placement test required
